Privacy policy

terracode ("we") runs this website at www.terracode.dev. We collect as little personal data as we can get away with. This page describes, plainly, what we do collect and why.
What we collect
Contact form. If you send an enquiry we receive the details you type: your name, email address, project type, budget range, and message. We use them to reply to you and for no other purpose. Enquiries are delivered to our email inbox and appear in short-lived server logs.
Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Fly.io, servers in Frankfurt, EU) records standard technical request logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. These rotate out automatically.
Theme preference. If you toggle light/dark mode, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
What we don't do
- No advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.
- No sale or sharing of your data with third parties, ever.
- No marketing emails unless you explicitly ask to hear from us.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@terracode.dev and we'll handle it promptly, no forms, no friction.
Booking and email
If you book a call through our scheduling link, the scheduling provider processes the details you enter under its own privacy policy. Email you send us is processed by our email provider (Google Workspace).
Changes
If we start collecting anything new (for example, privacy-respecting analytics), we'll update this page first.
