Privacy policy

This website at www.terracode.dev is run by Terracode ("we"), a software development company registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina, tax ID 4320834980001, the data controller for everything described on this page. You can reach us about your data at business@terracode.dev. We collect as little personal data as we can. This page describes, plainly, what we do collect and why.

What we collect

Contact form. If you send an enquiry we receive the details you type: your name, email address, project type, budget range, and message. We use them to reply to you and for no other purpose. Enquiries are stored in our enquiry database (hosted by Supabase), where we review them, and appear briefly in short-lived server logs. Once an enquiry is resolved and no engagement follows, you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Bot protection. The contact form is guarded by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a quick check in your browser to tell humans from spam bots — you'll see it on the form, and it may ask you to tick a box. For that check Cloudflare processes technical signals about your browser and network, including your IP address, under its own privacy policy. It tells us only whether the check passed, not who you are.

Server logs and delivery. Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Fly.io, servers in Frankfurt, EU) records standard technical request logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. These rotate out automatically. The site is delivered through Cloudflare's network, so requests pass through Cloudflare's servers on the way to ours.

Theme preference. If you toggle light/dark mode, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

Analytics. We count page views in our own database (hosted by Supabase, like enquiries): the page you visited, the site that referred you here, the campaign label when a link you clicked carries one (the utm tags in the address), and an anonymous identifier that rotates daily and cannot be traced back to you. No cookies, no advertising IDs or click identifiers, no raw IP addresses stored, and nothing shared with any analytics company.

Company identification. We use a script from Apollo.io that tries to recognize which company a visit comes from, so we know when, say, a logistics firm has been reading our case studies. It processes your IP address, the pages you view here, and a browser identifier, and shares them with Apollo, which matches them against its business database under its own privacy policy. It reports companies to us, not names. If you'd rather not be part of this, most ad and tracker blockers stop it, and you can always ask us to check what we hold.

What we don't do

• No advertising, and no sale of your data — ever.
• No data shared with anyone beyond the service providers named on this page.
• No marketing emails unless you explicitly ask to hear from us.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email business@terracode.dev and we'll handle it promptly, no forms, no friction.

Booking and email

If you book a call through our scheduling link, the scheduling provider processes the details you enter under its own privacy policy. Email you send us is processed by our email provider (Google Workspace).

If we start collecting anything new, we'll update this page first.
