A venture-backed health-tech company runs a developer-extensible electronic health record (EHR) platform for outpatient clinics. We work on its core systems, build plugins that extend it, and help engineer the operations behind its go-to-market.
The problem
A modern, programmable EHR platform has to do two things at once: stay solid at the core, where clinics depend on it every day, and stay extensible at the edges, where new capabilities are built as plugins. On top of that, growth puts its own load on the systems behind go-to-market. They needed experienced engineering that could move across all of it.
What we did
- Worked on the platform's core systems, the parts clinics rely on day to day.
- Built around twenty plugins that extend the platform with new capabilities, using its developer-extensible model.
- Helped engineer and scale the operations behind go-to-market, so growth did not outrun the systems supporting it.
The result
Two years in and counting: a platform that keeps its core solid while extending through plugins — around twenty of them built by our team — with engineering support that scales alongside the business.
