WizzHire: the AI-assisted hiring platform we built for ourselves
WizzHire is our own product: a complete recruitment platform with AI screening, designed, built, launched, and run by terracode. When we say we ship products, this is the proof.
WizzHire is not a client project. It's our own product: an AI-assisted hiring platform we designed, built, launched, and run ourselves. It's the clearest proof we can offer of what we do for clients, because we did it with our own money and our own name on it.
The problem
Recruitment usually sprawls across job boards, inboxes, spreadsheets, and hours of manual CV reading. We wanted the opposite: a single platform for everything hiring, from posting roles and managing applications to screening, ranking, and preparing to interview candidates, with AI removing the repetitive grind. And we wanted to prove, to ourselves and to our clients, that we could take a product from idea to market the same way we promise to do it for them.
What we did
We built the platform end to end, the same way we run client engagements:
- Brought the whole hiring workflow into one place, from job postings and applications to team collaboration on candidates.
- Added AI-assisted screening that reads and ranks applicants against each role and helps prepare interview questions, so recruiters spend their time on people instead of paperwork.
- Handled candidate data carefully, with privacy and EU data-hosting considered from the first commit.
- Shipped iteratively to launch, and kept shipping after it, because we run this product, we don't just hand it over.
The result
WizzHire started as an internal tool built around our own recruitment needs; two years of real-world use later, it became the product we released. In our own hiring, AI screening cut the time spent per role by around 80% — roles that used to take weeks of manual review now shortlist in days, in one organized flow. It's now in production, and the first company on the platform has already passed 100 applications through it. It replaces the job-board-and-spreadsheet sprawl with a single product, owned and operated by us — judge it yourself in a browser: wizzhire.com.
